Sophia is a school counselor and an artist who loves her yoga practice as a way to connect with her inner self. Her yoga journey started in 2015 and she realized she was feeling stronger, more grateful, and more present than she had felt in any other movement experience (these are the same reasons she loves climbing too!) She wanted to learn more about how yoga connected to mental and physical health, so she became a yoga teacher in 2018. Sophia is passionate about movement and creativity as factors in mental/emotional well-being, and focuses on incorporating these values into her counseling practice and personal growth. When she’s not doing yoga or climbing, she enjoys hiking with her dog Annie, knitting, painting, and learning to play guitar!
